Same with SS Jason Bartlett, plus manager Joe Maddon was looking for a day tp get Reid Brignac into the lineup. .. .Jeff Niemann will be on a pitch count of around 90 today in his first start since coming off the DL. … The Rays are looking for their 40th win of the season on the road, which would tie the franchise mark, and their major-league high 10th sweep of the season. … RHP Wade Davis said he felt good playing catch this morning, better than he expected to after making his first start on Tuesday in coming off the DL. ….
