A day later, Ramirez was in a playful mood. Those who have followed him for a while say that Ramirez was likely joking. On Tuesday, he added a few more jokes.
Said Ramirez: “After I practiced yesterday, I feel like I could play five more years. I’m going to play three more years here, then two more in Japan.”
Obviously, the 37-year-old Ramirez won’t be playing five more years and a trip over to Japan is unlikely. However, Ramirez certainly knows how to make headlines.
